Did I say 72 hours... It has been more like 96 hours of virus inflicted home detention... Rise with a head that screams influenza... Shower away the screams... Begin the day with optimism... Penguin number one needs to test the mettle of her Australian plastic against the smiling shop keepers of New Canaan... The outcome of the contest seemed to please both challenger and the challenged... Shopping on Elm Street New Canaan... pleasant... The quintessential local shopping environment for the well healed "Connecticuter" or should that be the well healed 'Connecticotian' or the well healed 'Connecticutensian'

Can you take us to tj maxxs... You Australian... How is the cricket team going... A 50 year displaced West Indian taxi driver... Loves his life here... Tells us off his bypass surgery... His stents... We miss the opportunity to question him on a taxi driver's perspective on the accountants of the American health service industry... A real missed opportunity... Australian folklore would suggest that a taxi driver would be devastated by them... Damm.... A real missed opportunity... Who paid the health insurance that presented this pleasant gentleman with access to heart specialists... Would have loved to have heard answer from him....

Tj Maxxs.. Our memories of it delivering bargains that even the most cynical of bargain hunters would consider as bargains are proven to be faulty... Well perhaps not faulty... Simply not adjusted to the realities of the Australian dollar... We make some purchases for old time sake....

The viruses tap penguin number two on the shoulder.... Today has just been day release... They direct him back to granny flat easing the disappointment by providing a taxi chauffeur... Another delightful gentle man... He of Haitian descent...

Do as instructed by the virus master.... Slumber.... No sign of the nightmares on Elm Street... The virus master taps me on the shoulder again... You can get up and watch the grandkids for an hour or so...
